Service Description

A Registered Nurse will provide a monthly nurse advocate service be it online, in person at the client's home or accompanying them to the clinic or hospital for support. The following advocacy services will include: reviewing medical records for any concerns as well as need for explanation of diagnoses, lab values, doctors or nurses notes, establishing a birth plan, finding a doula service if interested, attending prenatal and/or primary care doctor visits to help empower your voice concerning your health care and what you and your partner desire and attending your birthing experience in order to make sure your desires and needs are met during the labor and delivery process.
